A Full Day of Carnival Fun Followed by the Grand Illuminated Procession.

Burnham-on-Crouch Carnival returns on Saturday 26th September 2026, bringing a full day of entertainment to the town before the spectacular illuminated procession takes over the streets in the evening.

From 10am, Burnham High Street will be filled with activity, including entertainment, local market and food stalls, music and family competitions. A funfair will also run across the carnival weekend, adding to the atmosphere of one of Burnham’s biggest annual celebrations.

As evening arrives, attention turns to the Grand Illuminated Procession. Starting at approximately 7:30pm near the Clock Tower, the colourful parade will make its way through the High Street and Station Road, finishing at around 9:30pm.

Visitors should be aware that road closures will be in operation throughout the day and evening.

Road Closures: High Street will be closed to vehicles between Chapel Road and Silver Road from 10am–10pm. Further restrictions and rolling road closures along the procession route begin from approximately 6pm.

Parking: Town car parks and available on-street parking outside the immediate road closure areas can be used.
