Walk Together, Remember Together, Make a Difference.
Join the Blackwater Quay Memory Walk on Saturday 26th September for a special day of remembrance and fundraising in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society.
The walk is being held in memory of Jackie Murphy and Hazel Durant, as well as all those whose lives have been touched by Alzheimer’s.
The day begins at 9.30am at St Peter’s Church, Bradwell, with a candle service and a quiet time for reflection. At 10am, the Memory Walk sets off on its journey towards Blackwater Quay in Maylandsea.
You don’t have to complete the entire route to take part. Walkers are welcome to join along the way, including at The Cap & Feathers in Tillingham at around 12 noon, or The Star in Steeple at around 1.30pm. Alternatively, simply come along to support those taking part.
Every step and every donation will help raise vital funds for the Alzheimer’s Society and make this a meaningful community event in memory of some very special people.
