A Day of Steampunk Magnificence, Entertainment and Victorian Imagination.
Step into a world of Victorian-inspired imagination as Steampunk Essexxtraordinaire XI returns to the Museum of Power for its 11th year.
There will be plenty happening throughout the day, including teapot racing, duelling, entertainment, stalls and competitions, along with the chance to explore the Museum and discover Astaria Model Village.
Visitors can also enjoy the costume competition and immerse themselves in a wonderfully imaginative Steampunk world.
The Miniature Railway will be running until 3pm, with train rides available for an additional charge. The Crafty Cabin will also be open, and the Steam Pump Tea Room will be serving food and refreshments.
The Museum’s ‘Marshall’ Lilleshall pumping engine will be demonstrated using compressed air, with other oil and diesel engines also running during the day.
