All the staff at Gorgeous Hair and Beauty Salon in Mayland turned up for work wearing wedding hats in honour of the Royal Wedding on 19th May.
They discussed various ideas with customers leading up to the date when Jeannie Rogers, wife of Buck at Buck Rogers Skip Hire told them that they couldn’t back out now as she had invited The Maylands Mayl to visit and take their photograph! They entered into the spirit of the event and posed like professionals.
Jackie Wise has had a salon in Mayland for 15 years, the first two and a half years were on the waterfront, before she moved into her current premises.
You can have your hair styled, cut, coloured, permed, blow dried, put up, by any of the three stylists. If fact you can have the whole makeover experience as there is also a beautician, Emily Wakefield in the adjoining salon. They also offer body piercing. They are open from Tuesday to Saturday 9am – 5pm with a late night on a Thursday.
