Come to our Open Day – Everyone Welcome
We are pleased to invite you to our Open Day and would be delighted to show you what we can provide in the way of activities on Lawling Creek.
The sheltered bay opposite the Club is ideal for learning to sail, windsurf or paddle in a safe environment. On the water, we will be offering taster sessions for dinghy sailing, windsurfing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding and trips around the bay in one of our safety boats. You may even see some of our local seal population sunning themselves on the saltings.
On land, our Club house will be open for food and drinks with a galley and licensed bar. The Club veranda overlooks the water and is a lovely place to sit with a cup of tea or a pint of real ale.
We also have moorings available for larger sailing boats (and some motorboats) and a jetty which will take up to 3 tonnes for launching and recovering these boats.
We have a great Open Day membership offer available. Join us and receive membership for 2022 and 2023 for the cost of one year’s membership. Plus, there is no joining fee. So why not come along and see what the Harlow (Blackwater) sailing club has to offer?
