Be inspired, and learn how to create beautiful plant filled borders from scratch. This is a full day workshop where you will learn design techniques from Nicky at TWIGZ Design. She will guide and inspire you to create your very own garden border. With over a decade of garden design and horticulture experience, you can be sure you are in expert hands.
Topics covered will include soil testing, compass readings, measuring, plotting, plant selection, colour and design symbols.

This is both a theoretical and hands-on workshop so be prepared to get your hands a little dirty. The workshop is held in the marquee and museum gardens.
There will be breaks for you to grab coffee and lunch at the on-site café.

PLEASE WEAR SUITABLE FOOTWEAR AND OUTDOOR CLOTHING. PLEASE ALSO BRING:
A pencil, rubber, ruler and a tape measure.
